| What is LEED®? |
| The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance buildings. LEED was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and focuses on all building types and promotes “green” initiatives in five key areas: sustainable site development, water conservation, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor air quality. As a national rating system, LEED encourages sustainable green building practices through the use of universally accepted tools and standard performance measurements. |
